About Me

Hi, I am Jenny Hennah and I founded Doodledash in 2018. I have always had a huge love for dogs and am a proud owner of four Cockapoos – Rolo, Poo, Prinny and Rea.

My journey began in 2014 when I welcomed my first dog into my life. That experience inspired me to follow my passion and pursue recognised qualifications with the British Institute of Pet Dog Trainers.

I am a strong advocate of reward-based, force-free training that’s enjoyable for both dogs and their owners. In fact, in 2018, Rolo and I became the first ever dog and handler team in the UK to pass the ‘Do As I Do’ exam.

Alongside training, I’ve also enjoyed showing my dogs, working with theatre and pantomime productions, TV Adverts, taking part in school fetes and demonstrations, and teaching children how to stay safe around dogs.

I believe in continuous learning and regularly update my skills with modern, science-based techniques. Some of my qualifications and credentials include:

  • Canine Scent work Specialist

  • Lead Trainer at South Hatfield Dog Training Club

  • Canine Body Language Instructor

  • Assistance Dog Specialist

  • Certified Do As I Do Trainer

  • Fully insured with Pet Business Insurance

  • Trained in Human and Animal First Aid

  • DBS Checked
